We are seeking a skilled and customer-oriented Office IT Infrastructure & Automation Engineer to join our team. Our goal is to advance Europe’s industry to compete in the age of AI. To lay the foundation, we need you to ensure accessibility and availability of office infrastructure for our colleagues. As the first point of contact for our internal users, you will play a crucial role in providing excellent IT support, troubleshooting technical issues, and ensuring a smooth and efficient IT environment.  If you have a passion for customer service, strong technical knowledge, and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment, this position is for you. Your day-to-day will include:

• Acting as the primary point of contact for all IT-related inquiries, requests, and incidents from employees
• Providing technical support, troubleshooting hardware, software, and network-related issues
• Prioritizing and managing support requests, ensuring timely resolution and proper escalation when needed
• Automating IT department business processes, as well as supporting other teams in building automations and integrations of different tools
• Administration of user accounts, access rights, and permissions in accordance with company policies
• Collaboration with IT and AI teams to resolve complex technical problems and participate in ongoing projects and initiatives
• Create and maintain documentation for support processes, including knowledge base articles and user guides
• Conduct technology training sessions for employees to enhance their technical skills and promote self-service options
• Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies, industry trends, and best practices in IT support
• Together with your colleagues, build and improve the related IT-Support processes

• You successfully finished your apprenticeship as “Fachinformatiker” or hold a Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or a related field (or equivalent experience)
• You have experience in IT support, preferably in a corporate environment
• Strong knowledge of Windows and/or macOS operating systems as well as proficiency in supporting Google Workspace and other common software applications
• Experience with Microsoft EntraID, device Management (intune), user management, and account provisioning
• “Automate everything” mindset and curiosity to dive deep and set up automation opportunities, ideally within our tech stack (Powershell and Python)
• Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical users
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
• Thirst for knowledge and the desire to continuously learn and adapt to new challenges
• Basic understanding of hardware components and troubleshooting techniques
