Deine Aufgaben
  • Media relations - Build and maintain strong relationships with key journalists and editors across tier-one outlets (e.g. Handelsblatt, FAZ) and niche AI/tech publications.
  • Newsletter - Plan, curate and distribute our regular partner/ecosystem newsletter, ensuring content is engaging, relevant and aligned with our strategy. The newsletter is written in both English and German.
  • Content and story development - Spot newsworthy developments within the organisation, translate them into compelling narratives for different channels and audiences.
  • CEO communication - Manage our CEO's communication on LinkedIn and other external channels, ensuring a consistent tone of voice.
  • Publications - On an ad hoc basis, edit, redraft and give feedback to our content teams (AI Regulation, Public Interest, Academy, TransferLab) on publications.
  • Monitoring and reporting - Track media coverage, social engagement and newsletter performance for board updates.
Dein Profil
  • Approx. 12 years’ experience in journalism, PR or media relations (in-house or agency), ideally with B2B or tech/innovation topics.
  • Strong writing and editing skills. You are able to adapt tone and style for different audiences and channels.
  • Proven ability to pitch stories and secure media coverage in top-tier and niche outlets.
  • Experience running CEO communication channel(s) would be helpful though not a 'must have'.
  • Comfortable using AI tools for efficiency while maintaining human nuance in all output.
  • Curiosity and willingness to learn complex topics (no AI expertise required, but a genuine interest is).
  • Highly organised, able to manage multiple projects with tight deadlines.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both German and English are essential.
We look for natural talent and ability as much as for a conventional CV. If you haven’t had a typical career path or don’t quite meet the “approx. 12 years’ experience” guideline - please still apply. We are looking for the right fit and you may just be it.
