(Senior) AI Strategist - Use Cases & Application (m/f/x)

We are looking for (Senior) AI Strategist to enable and support our appliedAI partner companies on identifying, scoping and realizing the most potential AI use cases to accelerate their own AI journey. You have the opportunity to work with our partners from a wide variety of industries, support different projects and also be part of the development of innovative use case tools within the team.

With your background in AI, ML/Data Science, you will work within a new team of AI experts and use your know-how and expertise focusing on AI use cases and technology to guide our partners to realize their most valuable use cases and transform their own business into the AI age. To achieve this, you can use the unique potential of our appliedAI ecosystem of industries, technology vendors, solution providers, startups and academia. 

You will join a diverse and growing team of AI professionals focusing the transfer of emerging AI technologies and use case ideas into applications. We want to guide and support our appliedAI industry partners on how to leverage emerging AI technologies and innovative use cases within their own business and get one step closer to becoming an AI champion.

Successful candidates will:

• Advise our partners on AI Use Case identification, scoping and assessment (e.g. technical feasibility and business value) and setting-up the right approach to realize use cases
• Support in Make-or-Buy decisions for assessed and selected use cases
• Conduct customer-facing workshops to ideate and scope use cases
• Continuously develop top-notch content with and for our partners
• Pro-actively involve our other internal asset teams, our technology, or academic partners in respective opportunities
• Stay in touch with AI State-of-the-art research to understand opportunities and requirements

• Deep understanding of business strategy combined with a passion for (AI) technology - or the other way around 
• University degree with a focus on either business or technology/data science/ML (or a comparable field)
• Previous experience in strategy or technology consultancy or development of AI solutions for (larger) organizations 
• Experience in running cutting-edge workshops and developing ideas, concepts, and solution guidelines
• Deep understanding of at least one industry and the capability of AI in this industry
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving skills and communication skills
• Team player with a willingness to learn new things 
• Fluent in English and conversational German
