About us
Your mission
With your help we want to develop use case research activities with our partner ecosystem, building-up a novel open use case platform for exchanging information of AI use cases within the European AI ecosystem, and transforming our German into an international AI Startup Landscape. Last but not least, you will also investigate trends and emerging AI technologies together with our appliedAI experts and partners.
You will join a diverse and growing team of AI professionals focusing the transfer of emerging AI technologies and topics into use cases and applications. With your engagement and motivation, we want to guide and support our appliedAI industry partners to get one step closer to becoming an AI champion.
You will work on:
Actively shape the role of the appliedAI Institute as a competence center for understanding, analyzing and communicating AI use cases, the AI ecosystem and innovations across industries and / or driven by emerging technologies
Lead activities on developing specific software products and assets such as a cross-industry AI use case platform, European AI Startup landscape or AI demonstrators to showcase AI potential. All these products have the main goal to enable know-how transfer and sharing within the public German and European AI ecosystem.
Active communication across different channels and formats (e.g. articles and podcasts, workshop and talks on selected conferences)
Developing comprehensive reports on the latest AI trends to both technical and non-technical audiences
Support in creating collaboration and partnerships on developing above topics and assets with selected AI initiatives world-wide (e.g. AI Sweden, AI Singapore, GPAI), national AI initiatives like appliedAI Initiative or Innovation Park AI or more general innovation and venture platforms such as UnternehmerTUM.
Your profile
University degree with a focus on either business or technology/data science/ML (or a comparable field)
Understanding in at least one industry and the capability of AI (e.g. NLP, Computer Vision, …) in this industry
Experience in project management with focus on software development using agile methodologies such as SCRUM or KANBAN.
[Optional] Demonstrated expertise in customer-centric requirement analysis by identifying and prioritizing customer needs
Excellent analytical, problem-solving skills and communication skills
Ability to work and translate between different internal and external stakeholders and being comfortable with working with and for an ecosystem

High level of intellectual curiosity, a self-starter mentality, team spirit and a growth mindset.
Fluent English and optionally conversational German
